Lorna Jane is one of Australia’s greatest entrepreneurial stories and the brand has become synonymous with active living. As part of its commitment to fostering a healthier work environment, Equiem Community Manager Albert Pascual organised a Lorna Jane pop-up shop and a ‘Lunch and Learn’ seminar at 175 Eagle, Brisbane.
“Lorna Jane’s Move Nourish Believe philosophy tied in perfectly with the message that I wanted to communicate," Albert said. "They provided the opportunity to partner with a such an iconic Australian brand. The response from the building was amazing; from the atmosphere in the lobby, to the excitement at the ‘Lunch and Learn’. I am sure the ladies that attended left with some great tips on how to look and more importantly feel their best!”
Armed with goodie bags, T2 and Chobani yoghurt samples, tenants enjoyed wholesome snacks whilst going into the draw to win a $500 store voucher. The ‘Lunch and Learn’ seminar was paired with a fabulous display of Lorna Jane’s latest activewear on the ground floor!
In the 'Lunch and Learn,' Jacinta Lees from Lorna Jane discussed how sitting has been the dubbed the ‘new smoking’ and shared some practical ways to enhance physical and mental wellbeing throughout the work day. Our favourite tip: when feeling tired and sluggish, stressed/anxious or struggling to focus - try Dark Chocolate! But the key takeaway was "everything in moderation". Jacinta reminded us that what we consume and how we treat our bodies during the work day has a direct impact on our performance, concentration and energy levels.
Lorna Jane’s ethos is that “a woman who is inspired is unstoppable.” Community Manager Albert channelled this philosophy by assembling women from 175 Eagle to be inspired and empowered by the ‘Lunch and Learn,’ and by giving them the tools to create their own best habits.
This is just one example of Equiem’s overall mission to introduce a high-impact wellness events across our clients’ communities, facilitating healthy habits and healthy living.
